About Musnad

We built the tool we wished existed on our own projects.

Musnad is document automation for construction and engineering teams in the UAE. We started because we watched too many engineers lose their weekends compiling material testing schedules from BOQs and specifications by hand.

Work that an attentive junior could not have done any faster, and that a language model can do in minutes when it is given the source documents to cite from.

01 What Musnad does

We ingest the documents an engineer already works from. Bills of quantities, particular specifications, standard specifications. From those we produce the schedules, testing plans and procurement packages that would otherwise cost days of manual review per project. Every generated line carries the source clause and page behind it, so the responsible engineer can verify in seconds rather than take on trust.

02 What Musnad never does

We don't produce final signed submissions. We don't replace an engineer's judgement. What Musnad outputs is a first draft with its evidence attached. The human in the loop signs it off. That is the point.

04 Our tools

Built around the documents engineers already use.

Two production tools today, both cited against source. A third and fourth in the same pattern next.

MTR Generator

Takes in
Bills of quantities (Excel or PDF), particular specifications, general specifications. Multi-file uploads for each.
Produces
A two-sheet Material Testing Requirements workbook (on-site and third-party lab tests). Every test row cites the exact clause + page it came from; unverified rows are highlighted so the engineer knows where to look.

Reads the whole specification (not the first few pages), runs a citation verifier against the actual PDF, and flags anything the model could not back up.

Procurement Package Builder

Takes in
The BOQ workbook, drawings, particular and general specifications. Any number of files of each.
Produces
Subcontractor-ready package workbooks in your own package split, plus an 'Unclassified' sheet flagging any line the tool wasn't confident about, with the reason.

Optional: upload your pricing database. The tool returns the priced BOQ plus per-package subcontractor sheets. The whole "send this to five suppliers next week" cycle collapses to a single review.

Auditability

An append-only audit log records who acted, when, on what, and with what outcome.

Data control

Uploads are size-capped and verified by extension and content. Source documents are deleted once the run finishes.

Client isolation

Each client has its own workspace, enforced at the database query layer rather than in the interface.

Human control

Output is a first draft with its evidence attached. An engineer signs it off before it goes anywhere.
